How old are your roses? The oldest living rose-bush can be found outside a cathedral in Hildesheim, Germany. Documentation proves it has been there since A.D. 815. The bush caught fire in World War II from Allied bombs dropped nearby, but the roots were undamaged, enabling the rose bush to thrive again. source |
